Lithium Fluoride Crystal (LiF)
Lithium Fluoride Crystal
The transmittance of lithium fluoride crystals ranges from vacuum ultraviolet 105 nm to infrared 6.0 μm, which is the best material for vacuum ultraviolet transmission. The crystals are widely used to fabricate optical windows, lenses, prisms, and refractive elements in the ultraviolet-visible-infrared field. Besides, LiF crystal can be used as an X-associated detector crystal. The crystal can be used directly without an anti-reflective coating because of the lower values. As a window material, LiF crystal is an excellent achromatic and complex color difference material, which is widely used in ultraviolet, infrared transmission window lenses, and prisms in optical instruments.
