Magnesium Fluoride Crystal (MgF2)
Magnesium Fluoride Crystal
Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) crystal has good mechanical strength and good moisture resistance. They can be used as optical window materials in the vacuum ultraviolet to infrared range, such as ultraviolet laser windows. Besides, MgF2 crystals also can be used as a polarizing element for the birefringence effect.
