Potassium Chloride Substrate (KCl)

Potassium Chloride Substrate
Potassium Chloride (KCl) is hygroscopic. The crystal is often applied for infrared transmission windows and FTIR spectrophotometers. The KCl windows have a low refractive index and high threshold damage. So it's beneficial for sputter barrier windows in CO2 lasers.
