YSZ Substrates (Yttria-stabilized Zirconia)
YSZ Substrate
Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) single crystal substrate is one of the first materials to be applied to high temperature superconducting thin films. YSZ has good mechanical and chemical stability at a low cost. Zirconium oxide has been used in ceramics, refractories, machinery, electronics, optics, aerospace due to its high physicochemical properties. Also, this has high hardness, high strength, high toughness, too high wear resistance, and chemical resistance.
