Zinc Oxide doped with Sodium Sputtering Targets
Na-doped ZnO photocatalysts (Na-ZnO) are synthesized by a simple wet chemical method using zinc acetate dehydrate as starting material, and samples are annealed at 350 C. The results of characterization techniques like XRD, SEM, EDXA and UV reveals that the prepared samples are nanometer in size and Na ions successfully doped into the ZnO lattice without changing its wurtzite structure. The effect of the addition of different concentrations of sodium dopant on a structural property, optical property, surface morphology and photocatalytic activity of ZnO nanocrystals are analyzed.
